Executive Team Members
JACKIE WEISSMILLER VP of Property Management
Ms. Weissmiller serves as the Vice President of property management of VPS and is responsible for the financial success and management of the Merritt Communities. Jackie has over 20 years of industry experience involving multi-family and senior housing. She is a motivating team builder who prides herself on being a hands-on leader who trains and guides teams with an encouraging demeanor. Her particular expertise is in physical presentation, day to day operations, customer service, marketing, lease ups, repositioning, asset management, financial operations and budgeting. Prior to joining VPS, Ms. Weissmiller held progressively responsible positions with EPMI, A Bayside Company, Equity Residential, EPT Management Company and Capstone Real Estate Services. Her property management achievements include numerous Manager of the Year awards, two Leadership awards with Equity Residential and two IMAGINE awards with EPMI. She has served on apartment association boards, earned her CAM, HCCP and Texas Real Estate License.
DARREN LEWIS Director of Maintenance
Mr. Lewis serves as the Director of Maintenance for VPS and has over 20 years of industry experience. Darren is an expert in the management of multiple site locations and has diverse experience in project planning, building management, and preventative maintenance. He has worked in the industry since 1995 and holds his General Contractors License and his Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians.
